After having two children, Susan began working out with the help of a personal trainer in a local gym, to lose the weight gained during pregnancy. She not only achieved her goal weight, but lost 10% body fat in two years. She became a true believer in the commitment to fitness and the lifestyle changes that were necessary to help her maintain her physique.
Several years later in 2005, she decided to pursue her W.I.T.S. certification in order to share the knowledge gained throughout her own training and to help others reach their fitness goals. She was employed by PTS in Skillman, while also training many clients in the privacy of their own homes.
"I learned that in order to achieve my goals, I first needed to make a commitment to myself and to start the process on the inside by eating well, exercising regularly, and treating my mind and body with kindness and respect. Positive thinking was a big component as well. When you feel good on the inside, it radiates to the outside and you will see the results. It is not about looking like a model, it is about feeling healthy and being confident with who you are.”
The motto that I try to live by is this:” You become what you think about all day long.” Positive thoughts and actions lead to positive results!
In addition to training, Susan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, meditation and yoga.
